One benefit to Covid postponing most of my weddings this year is it’s given me the ability to take on more lifestyle sessions and the opportunity to photograph other significant moments in a couple’s life… like transitioning from a family of two to a family of three! Amy & Tim welcomed their son, Jackson into this world almost 2 weeks early and I’m so thankful I got the opportunity to photograph this sweet, sweet family! And witnessing this perfect little family gave me baby fever all over again 🙂 Congrats Amy & Tim, these are the sweetest days!

Libby & Spencer made me want to get married ALL OVER AGAIN…in the midst of a crazy time they’ve rolled with the punches and their wedding was beautiful, sweet, and focused on the joy of a new marriage. I loved spending time with them at a gorgeous venue, tucked away amidst endless fields; it felt like just the perfect little oasis and backdrop to the beginning of a great love story. Spencer and Libby, thanks for allowing us to capture your day! Your love is one for the ages!

Ben & Abby…two of my favorite souls on the planet are about to add a sweet little baby to this world and I could not be more excited! And after shooting their wedding years ago it means so much to be able to capture this sweet moment in their lives as well, and is not something I take for granted. Little does Baby S know that he or she (I think she 😉 )already has the best parents! Love you two!

Connor & Kayte…I’ve got to say these two hold a special place in my heart. I’ve grown up with both their families and we’ve spent many vacations, holidays, and occasions together… so you can imagine my excitement over the fact that not only are they getting married, but I get the honor of documenting their day! I love their story and seeing how God’s hand was all over it, weaving their paths together. I cannot wait for their wedding! (Also, more poppin’ the bubbly during sessions, please!)

Caitlyn & Freeland….their wedding day may not have looked like they originally planned (thank you, Covid) but it was the sweetest day. They had an intimate ceremony and after having a great photo session around OTR, they headed back to Caitlyn’s condo for dinner, dancing, and rooftop views surrounded by their closest friends and family. We had such an amazing time celebrating their marriage and getting even more of a glimpse into what an amazing couple Caitlyn & Freeland are! Congrats to the newlyweds!

Just like almost all engaged couples walking into 2020, Lauren & Jared’s wedding plans took a turn with the Covid pandemic and they were faced with making tough decisions in a crazy time – especially with them both being frontline workers! But can I just say from the moment I reached out to discuss options and how they were doing during this time they’ve been nothing but positive and focused on the biggest thing that mattered to them – their marriage. They didn’t want to delay starting their lives as husband and wife, even if that looked different from how they’d originally planned. And I am so glad they didn’t wait! Lauren & Jared had the sweetest, most beautiful, intimate backyard wedding…and I am obsessed. And while they plan to do it all again later this fall with all their friends and family present, this was a such a sweet and special evening, void of all the typical wedding day distractions… just a sweet couple vowing to spend the rest of their lives together. Congrats Lauren & Jared, and thanks for allowing me to be a part!

Amy & Dugan…where to even begin with these amazing humans. From the moment we met I instantly loved them and their love for one another. The way Dugan looks intently at Amy, and the way she smiles and laughs at him; like they’ve only just met when really their love story starts all the way back in middle school. They planned a gorgeous outdoor wedding, but the rains forced them to move everything inside and while that would’ve definitely phased me and most brides, I mean it when I say it didn’t put a damper on their day. They embraced it, bare feet, umbrellas, rain and all…and it was perfect. Congrats Amy & Dugan, thanks for letting us be a part of your day 🙂

Fall felt so crazy short this year – like two days, and it just so happens we picked one of those days for Lauren & Jared’s engagement session (thanks to Lauren and her expert researching/predictions) ;)… I’ll be consulting her for all my fall sessions. Lauren & Jared are such a sweet and fun couple! I loved spending the evening with them – back at the place where Jared popped the question and I’m so excited for their wedding next spring!

Frank is a doctor working in the ER and Stephanie is a filmmaker, travel photographer + journalist AND they got engaged on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro – I mean talk about a cool couple. And even cooler still, they met on the front porch steps of the home they now share together years later. I had such a fun time hearing their story and spending the evening with these two and their super cute pup, Harry!

JoAnna & Levi look like paid models but I promise they are another one of my amazing couples. And they are every bit as sweet and fun as they are beautiful! I had such a good time with these high school sweethearts during their session and can’t wait for their wedding next year!
